DragonBird Theatre instils a love for theatre, engages the imagination and facilitates creative play between parents/carers with their children. Our sessions provide an opportunity for parents to play and focus on their young children without the distractions of our modern world.
We run monthly sessions in different parts of Bristol, working with families and theatre in non-traditional theatre spaces in the community.
Our sessions starts with a performance of a story and is then followed by an interactive session where the parents and children play their way back through an adventure based on the story.
The sessions run for forty-five minutes and involve plenty of.....
set/props/puppets/costume/loose parts play/songs/dance/bubble-machines/giant-nets/parachutes and many household items AND a whole heap of fun.
Confident, creative and happy relationships between parents/carers and their children
