I studied Fine Art with a focus on painting & photography in Brighton in the 1980’s. I moved to London after completing my degree where I joined a team of artists designing and painting murals in North London Hospitals. In 1990 I came to Bristol and worked as an illustrator at Sustrans, the sustainable transport organisation which influenced my ideas on environment and sustainability.
I started working as a technician at The Bristol School of Art 11 years ago where I have studied for a PGCE and have enjoyed teaching a range of subjects and developing print making techniques, including silk screen, monotype, etching and drypoint.
Recent works have been inspired by modern physics, the study of particle collision at CERN. Our understanding of the nature of things; be it physical, philosophical, and/or political is a constant pursuit in my life and art.
